Kinsey and Bryn

As I was looking through pictures yesterday of Halloween, I came across these two cute little bunnies. Can you tell which one is Kinsey and which one is Bryn??

They are both so cute and look so much alike. Brynley loves to hang out with her big sister. She wants to do everything with her and just like her. Kinsey is the only one really that can understand EVERYTHING that Bryn says. Sometimes when I am just not catching it, I have to ask Kinsey--what did she just say?? I'm glad they are such good friends.

Halloween Fun!!

So here are the cute kids' costumes for Halloween. This was Little Bunny Fu Fu. It was so cute when she would say what she was going to be!!

Ty got off easy and went with the nudist on strike poster. Everyone really liked it!!

Kinsey couldn't decide what to be, but makes a really cute witch!! She loves to dress up and did quite a few practice runs.

Bradley and Ethan went all out this year....................

First they both had to shave their heads!!

Then they both painted their heads and went as the Blue Man Group. Everyone liked their costumes. Unfortunately it was really cold and windy!!

Mom and Dad were boring this year and didn't dress up. Oh well, there's always next year!

Two Lakes and Kakwa

We went to Two Lakes and Kakwa Falls last weekend. It is 2 hours to Two Lakes and then 2 more hours on a crazy bumpy road to Kakwa. We drove it all in one day--while everyone else camped there for a few days. (Yes, we are crazy!!) This is the lake where everyone camped. It was just beatiful.

This was just one of the sections of the road to Kakwa. It was only 20 kilometer to Kakwa but it took us 2 hours to get there because it is a creek bed most of the way up.

This is Kakwa falls. It is beautiful!! It was worth the drive. (Just not all in one day next time)

The kids hiked down to the falls and Ty got this picture from behind the waterfalls.

This picture was from up top where we were. The kids and a few others were more adventurous and went right down.

This was the crazy hike down. Thin ropes were the only things to hold onto. One actually broke on the way back up. YIKES!!

So overall it was awesome. Fun to be together with Ron, Sherry, Nate, Kathy, Tracy and Sharron and Family!!

Birthdays

Brynley our sweetheart turned 2 years old this year. She is the happiest girl and loves to laugh and play. The other day Tim said to me, "What would we do without her in our family". It is so true everyone loves Brynley. Because she is just turning 2 we just had a birthday cake and presents for her. She had so much fun!!!

Tyler turned 14 this year!!! His birthday was on July 22. We had a surprise party for him, it was so much fun!! We invited a bunch of his friends and had a paintball war. They all had so much fun being shot and shooting each other. Then because they were so hot from all of their layers they went swimming at Auntie Sherry's house. Then we went home, had cake and ice cream, watched a movie and ate dinner. We had such a blast and as you will see in the picture, Tyler was definately surprised. (I uploaded the pictures backwards and don't know how to switch them around-- so just know that they are backwards as far as timeline)

Tyler also got his learners permit 2 days after his Birthday. He is so excited and is a fairly good driver. Although I must say there have been a few times when I have been worried for my life!!! I guess that's why they call it a LEARNERS.

Kleskun Hills and Haircuts

We had such a grand adventure yesterday. We packed up a lunch and headed to the hills. Kleskun hills. They are about 30 min. from our house, and Tyler got to drive us there. As you can see in the pictures they were these big hills that the kids could climb. They were like mountain goats climbing up and down.

And of course, Brynley was up and down just as much as anyone else. She was such a trooper, and of course wanted to do it all by herself.

The boys decided they wanted to have buzz haircuts. So out came the buzzers and this is the result. Of course Ethan is too cool in his cut and glasses.

We love Summer!!

Summer is finally here and we are loving it. The kids don't officially get out of school until June 25th. They are hating that. I am too because I love to have the kids home. Only 5 more days left!! The other day we went to a park close by and had some fun as a family.

This picture kills me because when Tim saw this sign he had second thoughts about playing here!! Also notice how tall Ty is compared to Tim. Yup he is growing!! Yikes!!

This is in our yard and Kinsey decided she wanted to be a tree. She is trying to become one with nature!

We are, I mean I am loving the heat. The hottest it has gotten is about 90* Farenheit. But we have no A/C in the house and Tim is wilting. I love it!! He comes home from work and asks, "aren't you hot?" and I just smile and say, "no, it feels so good"! I would always freeze in our house in Utah because he would have the A/C on 24/7.

May in Canada

I was just looking at my cousins blog who lives in Taylorsville and I saw her beautiful flowers and yard and it made me long for Utah. This is what my yard looked like just three days ago. We woke up to this!!! Our nephew who just moved here from Utah too said that it felt like he hibernated through summer and woke up to winter!!!
