Recent Happenings

This is Kinsey's first ever horseback ride.  She did awesome and didn't want to get off.

Brynley and Tim went on a date to the movie, Brave.  Bryn was so excited for the entire week waiting for the big day!  Kinsey did her hair, her make-up and got her all dressed and ready to go!!

Brynley had the biggest smile on her face the whole time.   She was so excited to go on a date with daddy.  She asked Tim what day it was and he said Tuesday.  Bryn then says, I think every Tuesday and Thursday we should go on a date.

We've had a great year. Life is full of ups and downs. Luckily last year it was mostly ups!!
We are still happy here in Canada. Ty is in 11th grade. I can't believe I have an almost 17 year old, Bradley is in 8th, he just turned 14 and got his learners permit to drive. Kinsey is in 6th grade and is almost 12 and in Young Womens, she is so excited. Ethan is in 4th grade and is an awesome friend and example to everyone. Brynley is almost 5 and starting kindergarten next year. Brigham is 2 this May and he just finished getting potty trained!! YAY! After 17 years of kids in diapers, I am finally done. Monumental day in my life! Tim is as awesome as ever. We all love him and look forward to his arrive each evening after work.

I just thought I'd post a bunch more random pictures. This was Bradley helping the Scout troop and Young Women make sandbags for a fundraiser.

Finally

Well it's been awhile since I've updated our blog. We are all doing just peachy! We are still having snow come down like it's going out of business. It is March 22 and we should be seeing some signs of spring. But we are trying to stay positive and know that eventually the spring will come.
Here are a few pics of the family to let you know how they are growing.

Ty has started to lift weights after school to get in shape for football. He is such a strong and courageous young man!!
Kinsey has started voice lessons and is really progressing. She is also very tall!
Tim was helping Ethan build a bridge of linguine for school. They had a good time.

Brigham is growing and took his first steps on March 11, 2011. He is amazing!!


Bradley is such a good big brother. He holds and loves Brig when mom is busy with everyone else!
And of course our princess Brynley. She is such a sweetheart that really brings joy to everyone!

Sledding

During the Christmas break we got to go sledding! A friend from work told Tim about a hill not too far from Wembley. It was lots of fun and nobody else was there.


It was kind of cold -21, but as we played it warmed up to -14. It was actually quite nice and we had a blast.

The first time down Bryn went with Tyler and they biffed and got snow all in their faces and she didn't want to go again. Luckily, I talked her into going on the not so steep part and we went down a couple of times together. She is a trooper!


The kids also went skiing the next day at Nitehawk. It was fun but the kids said it was even colder that day, although the forcast said it was suppose to be only -7, it turned out to be more like -21. But they stuck it out all day and had a blast!!
